CLEANGEAR USA is a member of the National Equipment Reconditioners Association (NAERA) and certified with the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE). CLEANGEAR USA reconditions and recertifies helmets according to the rules and tests set forth to meet NOCSAE standards.
CLEANGEAR USA IS THE ONLY RECONDITIONER to apply the SportsAide Aegis Microbe Shield / Antimicrobial Treatment to all athletic equipment that is reconditioned and recertified. This proven technology has been used exclusively in the medical and consumer goods applications over the past 30 years. It effectively controls the growth of a wide-array of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi on treated equipment 24/7 365 days. The alliance of the SportsAide treatment and the cleaning process of CLEANGEAR USA raise the standard in protection to the athletic equipment industry.
At CLEANGEAR USA, it is understood by all of our staff that the athletic equipment we recondition and recertify, is used for and is designed to protect any athlete from injuries. All athletic directors and coaches know that athletic equipment is becoming increasingly expensive, while school budgets are diminishing. By reconditioning athletic equipment regularly, your athletic department will be able to:
1) Prolong the use of expensive equipment
2) Reduce the risk of contracting viruses & bacteria
3) Significantly reduce athletic equipment costs
4) Maintain the integrity and performance of expensive equipment
5) Protect the safety of athletes
6) Reduce health risks and liability
CLEANGEAR USA strongly recommends the regular recertification of football helmets under the NOCSAE and NAERA standards which will ensure that every helmet is maintained to the suggested manufacturer’s specifications.
